Consultant (Data Engineering)

Job Type: Full Time
Duties: Collaborate
with business, IT to capture, prioritize, and document data analytic
requirements and drive measurable results. Develop, maintain and manage
advanced reporting, analytic dashboards with solutioning and other BI
solutions. Identify business risks and make recommendations based on analysis
and provide a solution. Follow business standards in developing a tableau
dashboard and perform unit testing and complete system documentation for data
extraction, transform and Load (ETL) processes. Develop SQL queries and Python
scripts for data Ingestion, Integration and Orchestration on customer data
platform. Perform data wrangling before connecting to data source from tableau
desktop. Design ways to help business users to see the reports at higher level
and provide the ability to drill down through multiple dimensions. Define new
KPIs, and design whiteboard wireframes, beta dashboards and present to business
team to see if they meet their requirements. Query customized SQL code to get
all the required data from different tables in Redshift data lake and limit the
data to increase the performance. Analyze and develop a live dashboard for
websites in Google Analytics by triggering an API. Utilize experience with IDE:
Pycharm, Visual Studio; Data Analytic Tools: Tableau,
Google Data Studio, Excel, Alteryx, Pyspark; Design
and Architecture Tools: Draw.io, Lucid chart, Visio; Methodologies: Agile; Project
Management: JIRA, Confluence; Databases: Redshift, MySQL.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor-s degree in Computer
Science, Engineering, Business or related field and 3 years of experience in
the job offered or Data Engineering-related occupation.
Alternatively,
employer will accept a Master-s degree in Computer Science, Engineering,
Business or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or Data Engineering-related
occupation.
Experience must include one year
of experience with each of the following skills:
1. IDE: Pycharm, Visual Studio
2. Data Analytic Tools: Tableau, Google Data Studio, Excel,Alteryx, Pyspark
3. Design and Architecture Tools : Draw.io, Lucid chart, Visio
4. Methodologies: Agile
5. Project Management: JIRA, Confluence
6. Databases: Redshift, MySQL
Must be available to work on projects at
various, unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
