Expected salary range of $135,000 to $150,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Supports site environmental staffs by providing governance, oversight, and support for environmental programs consistent with Exelon Nuclear and station goals. As the Regional Environmental Manager responsible for supporting environmental activities, the Regional Environmental Manager establishes and reinforces standards and expectations for environmental programs and seeks to minimize environmental risk and promotes an error free and professional work environment. Works with Nuclear Management to develop, implement and track environmental stewardship programs.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

+ Coordinates internal and external resources required to support Exelon Nuclear sites. Manages the resources assigned to regional environmental programs for air, land/waste, water and environmental thermal matters. Develop and manage strategy for contracts required to support the environmental programs.

+ Provide oversight of site maintenance, operation, and work control functions for environmental matters through routine performance monitoring, audits, focused area self-assessments and check-in assessments.

+ Provides governance through the development of standards, programs, processes and best practices within environmental control in the following areas: land/waste management, water management, air quality management, environmental thermal programs, the Environmental Management System (EMS), spill prevention, Community Right-to-Know programs, and developing common definitions and performance metrics to increase performance.

+ Develops and directs regional nuclear technical support functions and programs for Environmental Affairs.

+ Proactively manages external relationships with regulatory agencies, consultants, utility peers, industry groups and other advisory groups.

+ A. Owner of Exelon Nuclear’s programs, processes, procedures and practices for Environmental Affairs. B. Ensure consistency in the development and implementation of standardized processes, programs, procedures and practices. C. Drive continuous improvement with a focus on value achieved at the sites. Ensure consistency in the development and implementation of standardized processes, programs, procedures and practices including EMS. D. Develop and implement practices that allow for transfer of knowledge and lessons learned between regions. E. Coordinate activities, initiative planning and implementation schedules between the regions.

+ A. Provide input and feedback representing the regional perspective on development and implementation of standardized processes including the Environmental Management System (EMS), programs, procedures and practices. B. Accountable to or as the CFAM in the areas of site performance, issues and corrective actions. C. Implement change across the regional sites consistent with direction provided by the CFAM.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

+ BS Engineering, Environmental Science, or BS Degree in related field Graduate degree or graduate work in engineering, science or business is preferred

+ Minimum 10 years experience in managing environmental projects and/or related experience Experienced site Chem/RW/Env manager.

+ FLS selection Testing

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

+ Graduate degree or graduate work in engineering, science or business is preferred

+ Experienced site Chem/RW/Env manager.

+ Minimum of 3 years management experience
