Support the Broker Copilot product team to deliver a new commercial risk broker placement system. You will engage with local colleagues of all seniority levels to understand their processes and assist them in their transition to a new operating environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Relationship management working directly with colleagues in US and UK to understand their processes and requirements
• Analyze local process and requirements by country and by practice group (property, casualty, etc.) to then assist in the development of global processes and solutions
• Producing a range of Business Analysis outputs including, but not limited to, business requirements, business process diagrams, use case diagrams, user stories, user journeys.
• Provide input into testing scenarios to ensure appropriate test coverage and traceability of test scenarios back to requirements. Reviews test plans and results to confirm proper coverage, validity, and expected results are achieved.
• Once product is live, participate in Root Cause analysis for defects and process issues including identification and assessment of options for corrective action/continuous improvement.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
• Knowledge of insurance industry with an insurance carrier or insurance broker in the commercial risk space
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a functional or technical capacity
• Confidence to question, challenge, and influence information to gain a deep understanding of business process
• Interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with leading business and technical SMEs
• Ability to see the “big picture” solution but equally drill down to low-level detail when required
• Analytical ability to understand complex subjects and transferring that knowledge into required deliverables
• Experience in producing a range of Business Analysis outputs (business requirements, business process diagrams, use case diagrams, user stories, user journeys)
• Full professional proficiency in English is a requirement

Key Differentiators
• Prior experience working for an insurance broker or on insurance brokerage processes
• Knowledge of commercial risk insurance programs (Example: property, general liability, commercial auto, workers’ compensation, cyber, directors and officers, etc.)
