Job Description

Lead engagements teams on multiple projects on a daily basis to provide valuation advisory services and financial opinions to clients. Establish and maintain relationships with clients and work with managing directors/directors to network within communities to find and attract new business. Develop proprietary valuations models to value different types of financial instruments, including but not limiting to: various equity derivatives (performance and market based options, warrants, share based compensation, privately held equity interests, etc.), credit derivatives, structured products (ABS, RMBS, CMBS, CLOs), convertible debt, private debt, contingent payments, and portfolios of fixed income instruments. Develop valuation models using option pricing theory, interest rate and credit models, Monte Carlo simulation, binomial trees, contingent claims analysis and other financial engineering techniques. Advise clients on the valuation of complex financial instruments for financial reporting, tax, fairness opinion and dispute consulting purposes. Perform research in valuation topics and accounting guidance. Publish research reports for business development and internal training purposes. Assist in project scoping and staffing. Generate high quality, thorough reports with minimal oversight. Present and communicate results and findings to clients. Oversee and conduct training for analysts and associates.
