Job Description
Starehe Home Care, LLC is looking for part time home care workers to provide quality assistance to clients in the comfort of their own homes. We are seeking individuals, who are compassionate and trustworthy, who enjoy working with seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Home Care Worker Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Allowing clients to remain independent in their home while monitoring their health and providing support and personalized services
- Monitor the client’s status and daily activity.
- Assist the client with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Purchasing groceries and household products, as well as preparing breakfasts and lunches
- Assisting with mobility, as needed
- Ensure a stable, secure, and healthy environment for clients Home Care Worker Skills and Qualification:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar field
- Complete State of Illinois mandated certifications
- Minimum age 21 years old
- Healthcare management and client care
- Monitoring and training skills
- Care management skills
- Pass state of Illinois background check
- Loving and compassionate personality
- Knowledge of first aid
- A valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance are required.
