Overview:
This is a specialist level role, where technicians are assigned to repair and maintain coaches/ buses. Responsibilities may include troubleshooting, identification of repair needs, and independently completing repair projects, as assigned.

Core Responsibilities:

Work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision
Diagnose and repair one or more areas, such as electrical, HVAC, suspension, mechanical, pneumatic and/or brake systems
Develop technical skills on an ongoing basis
Comply with the quality and safety standards of the organization
Complete documentation thoroughly and timely
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Knowledge, Skills & Ability:
Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
Ability to look up parts efficiently and independently
Be proficient in electronic data and laptop use

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma, GED or equivalent or graduation from a certified technical school
4 years of qualified mechanical experience, substituting one year of related technical training for a year of experience

Minimum Requirements:

Ability to read and write
Provide own set of tools

Physical Demands:

Standing/sitting for long periods of time
Exposure to local weather variances, however work is generally inside/ under cover
Lifting heavy objects

Travel:

No travel required
