Role: Jr. Digital Project Manager / Project Coordinator with waterfall methodology experience

Location: Hybrid schedule – Chicago, Illinois – River North

Salary: $30-40/hr. Competitive Based on experience

Duration: 6 months + contract

Hours; 1 st shift 8a -5pm

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Jr. Digital Project Manager / Project Coordinator to join our team for a website migration project that runs through August 2025. The Jr. Digital Project Manager will work closely with the program manager and cross-functional teams to support the planning, execution, and delivery of a project to migrate six groups of microsites. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to develop their project management skills and grow within a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities

+ Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and budgets.

+ Support senior project managers in coordinating project activities, resources, and stakeholders.

+ Collaborate with team members to gather project requirements, define objectives, and establish deliverables.

+ Monitor project progress and track key milestones, deadlines, and dependencies.

+ Prepare and distribute project status reports and updates to stakeholders.

+ Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks and issues.

+ Coordinate meetings, workshops, and reviews, including scheduling, agenda creation, and minute-taking.

+ Support the implementation of project management best practices and methodologies.

+ Contribute ideas and insights to improve project processes and efficiency.

+ Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the project team.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ 1+ years of experience in Project Management / Project Coordinator or a relevant role.

+ Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall).

+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

+ Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

+ Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.

+ Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., ClickUp, Jira).

+ Certification in project management (e.g., CAPM, PMP).
