Job Description

This is a product manager position building relationships with steelmaking producers. The product manager can be based out of any location, but must be open to very regular travel domestically (weekly travel). A company vehicle is provided. Candidates should ideally live in central time zone. Travel is to customer sites.

Description:

The Flux Product Manager works to build relationships with steelmaking producers supporting customers to improve their performance using the best product for each customer application

Works close to Research and Development center, reviews products, application, to better improve customer service and sales, including POS sales assistance.

This individual will work closely with sales, production, quality control, and other Marketing and Technology business units national and worldwide.

Mold Flux is a product that belongs to this company’s Flow Control Business Unit

This individual will help manage their mold flux technical support line

Customer management and support

Skills:

+ Candidates should have product management, sales engineer, applications engineer, account manager type role and experience dealing with casting of steel

+ will consider candidates with 2+ years in steel castings, metallurgy, materials engineering in a professional work environment

+ should have strong customer service, relationship building, sales experience, and/or subject matter expert experience
