Urban Tailz has provided daily dog walking, cat sitting, and pet sitting services on the North Side of Chicago since 2000, providing over 750,000 visits to thousands of happy pets. We are one of the oldest and highest-rated pet care companies in town and are looking for passionate animal lovers to join our organization. Our compensation package is structured per visit, equivalent to a competitive rate between $17.00 – $20.00 per hour based on the service type. Job Description: We are seeking passionate and responsible individuals to join our team as a part-time Weekend Dog Walker & Cat Sitter. Responsibilities include:+ Walking and pet sitting in designated neighborhoods during Mon to Fri midday hours (approximately 10am – 4pm)
+ Ensuring the safety and well-being of each dog in your care.
+ Providing exceptional customer service to clients through clear and timely communication.
+ Adhering to established walking routes and schedules
+ Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards during walks.
What we are looking for:+ A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their welfare.
+ Saturday & Sunday availability (9am – 4pm approximately)
+ Reliable transportation to navigate between walking locations.
+ Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
+ Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
+ Previous experience in the pet industry or a related field is preferred but not required.
