Job Description
Mediaocean LLC has opening for Sr Software Development Engineer in Chicago, IL.
Develop large scale, concurrent applications, modern languages/frameworks, modern Web technologies, relational databases, and RESTful web services to coordinate with engineering, product, and design personnel in the development of the front end and back end software solutions for simple and effective user interfaces. Analyze online and social media for marketing purposes. Develop and modify computer application software. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design. Modify existing software to correct errors, and allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance. Develop and direct software engineering, product, and design personnel to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interface.
Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a software engineering-related
occupation.
May telecommute within commuting distance of Chicago office.
