Insight Global’s client is looking for a Product Manager to come in and work on their Customer Data Platform. They are creating a data platform to support personalization of the Walgreens website and application. They want to make a better experience for their customers. They are focusing on the foundational platform to enable a deeper personalization.
This Product Manager will be starting from an ideation, doing all the product management tasks, going from a lot of ambiguity to take all of that and refine and get the product developed.
The main responsibilities are going to be managing the product backlog, product ceremonies, agile ceremonies, working cross functionally with teams. This is pretty much a brand new initiative, there are some things built in, but they are trying to streamline to make things more efficient.
This person will be very involved in the road map as this is a brand new initiative. The business requirements are currently only two lines, so they will define the scope, define the vision, define the strategy and then execute and deliver.
This person will be working on customer data specifically, understanding of data science and the need for AI and ML models, building out data pipelines. An example would be product recommendations, all the business rules of how do we create the right product recommendations for the specific customer. Understanding the data and then what models to create.
-Trying to modernize our current platforms to have more accessible data for all the applications. All data platform strategy, execution, etc.
-This role is on the customer data platform perspective, managing the data and how to bring all the customer data in, build out the data pipelines and the data curation pieces and build the accessibility layers for personalization and better perspective of the customer data
-Strategy and execution piece of customer data.

Skills and Requirements
5-10 of Product Management - creating specifications and features for the developers to build
-Experience working with Customer Data and Marketing.
Specific Data Sciences processes experience - understanding of data science and the need for AI and ML models, building out data pipelines. -All related to customer data
-Ecommerce/Retail experience/Retail Marketing background
JIRA or ADO (azure devops) to create stories, defining deliverables.
-Soft skills, being able to present to team, good communication
-Ability to work cross functionally, communicate well with stake holders
-Enterprise level experience
-Good experience working closely with engineers to build products
-Strong powerpoint experience -Leadership skills, being able to lead, how do you make sure you coordinate with everybody to keep the focus. Making progress to delivering product. null
