Work you’ll do:
+ Provide financial operational accounting, analysis, reporting, and process improvement support to a client’s Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) organization.
+ Support the project’s financial reporting, operational accounting, and process improvement workstreams
+ Assist with the reconciliation of financial information from the operational accounting system with associated source documentation (e.g., purchase requests, billing records, contract information)
+ Provide analysis of operational accounting and associated financial management processes and reports
+ Conduct analysis and perform detailed, transaction-level review and testing of operational accounting data
+ Recommend appropriate corrective actions based on analysis
+ Apply consulting skills to address client needs and deliver results
+ Implement business process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
+ Utilize financial accounting knowledge to manage and oversee financial processes
+ Conduct financial reconciliation to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records

Qualifications
Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other business-related field
+ 2+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience
+ Active Secret Clearance
+ Candidate must be based in the St. Louis, IL area with the flexibility to travel to client sites as required
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
