What Financial Planning & Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health

Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization’s assets.

Financial Planning & Analysis provides strategic partnership and objective guidance to business units. It leads cross functional efforts to enable forward looking, actionable insights with a focus on driving strategic value that influences key business decisions.

Responsibilities

+ Creation and management of IT Capital Acquisition Requests (CARs)

+ Evaluating capital vs expense activity

+ Assessing deal profitability and pricing models

+ Pricing client programs

+ Partnering with the business on reporting needs

+ Partnering with accounting on revenue recognition research

+ Traditional FP&A budgeting and forecasting activities

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related field preferred

+ 2-4 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred

+ Experience supporting an IT group or capitalization preferred

+ Accounting firm experience preferred

+ Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects

+ May contribute to the development of policies and procedures

+ Works on complex projects of large scope

+ Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems

+ Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives

+ Completes work; independently receives general guidance on new projects

+ Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives

+ May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues

+ Anticipated salary range: $78,500 – $112,100

+ Bonus eligible: No
