We are currently seeking to fill the position of Director of Platform Products. The Director of Platform Products is a leadership position focused on developing and implementing an integrated digital platform product strategy across Community Banking segments. This leader will work collaboratively across the Community banking line of business, Marketing, Operations, and Information Technology teams to drive product/feature penetration and utilization, customer engagement and relationship deepening. This role reports to the Community Bank Chief Product and Digital Officer. Our offices are at 8750 West Bryn Mawr, Chicago (near O'Hare airport), Huron Building in downtown Milwaukee, Eden Prairie MN, and Evansville Indiana.
Key Accountabilities
Product Development and Execution
Defines, prioritizes and manages the Community Bank's digital banking, unified sales, IVR and related digital platform roadmaps to deliver highly competitive, differentiated features and experiences that support and integrate into a broader customer-focused product and pricing ecosystem.
Collaborates with IT and other relevant delivery groups to deliver peer-leading, end-to-end customer journeys with an emphasis on customer listening.
Collaborates with the larger Community Bank Product and Digital Team to support and execute an ecosystem of complementary retail products, features, third-party integrations and channel experiences.
Manages third-party vendors and partners to ensure alignment on roadmap scope and prioritization, effective delivery, as well as optimization of value and risk via contract management.
Product Promotion
Collaborates with Marketing to develop and prioritize go-to-market platform and feature promotion.
Serves as accountable owner of digital banking platforms as a sales and marketing delivery channel, ensuring customer-facing offers and messages are relevant, compelling and support the overall customer experience.
Participates in cross-functional Acquisition, Early Tenure and/or Retention working teams, with defined customer lifecycle accountabilities.
Product Performance
Delivers feature penetration, utilization, and engagement performance for all digital Community Bank digital banking, product application, and customer conversation platforms.
Collaborates with larger Product and Digital Team to deliver on Community Bank product unit, balance, utilization, and engagement performance that align to business objectives and risk parameters.
Defines and monitors category goals and KPI's, in collaboration with internal partners, and socializes performance across the Community Bank leadership team.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university (advanced degree preferred)
7+ years of relevant professional experience with a demonstrated high level of success managing diverse teams in a complex financial institution or similar organization.
Strong digital platform product management experience - preferably within the retail banking space, with experience in managing privacy, regulatory and compliance matters.
Proven ability to assess, validate, products, services, and solutions, including an understanding of the QA process.
Strong experience selecting, engaging, and managing technology vendors and third-party partners
Excellent verbal and written communication skill
Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders across the enterprise.
Strong critical thinking skills that result in effective decisions supported by rigorous analysis.
