Job Description

Responsible for overseeing, managing, and facilitating the successful completion of automated material handling systems upgrades and server migrations. Oversee monthly review of ProCare Support agreement customer base for active and expired contracts; track, maintain, and update system status information (SGV Manager version, Windows Server, SQL Server, vehicle version, etc.) for new and existing customers. Determine and schedule baseline SGV Manager system upgrades based on periodicity specified in customer support agreement; determine and schedule server migrations based on End of Life for third party licensed components (Microsoft Server, SQL Server, .NET Framework, Kepware, etc.); identify customers that have upcoming End of Life and provide recommendations to Sales/Commercial team to get/update support agreements. Provide estimates for customer upgrades/migration based on project specific features.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or closely related field and:

  • 3 years of experience in supporting software implementations for AGV or similar automated material handling systems;
  • 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Windows-based server application migrations and configuration;
  • 3 years of experience working with Windows Server, SQL Server, NET Framework, Kepware;
  • 2 years of experience determining estimated hours for sales proposals; and
  • 2 years of experience in server side software development for manufacturing environments.
