Description:

This position is within the Office of Undergraduate Affairs in the College of Engineering (COE). Reporting to the Director of the Equity and Inclusion of Engineering Program, the Program Coordinator will support all aspects of the EIEP program, including scholarships, tracking academic progress, collaboration with UIC culture centers and support units, assessment and programming. The Program Coordinator of EIEP supports the Director with the management of student success initiatives for current and prospective students.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Administer and manage scholarship programs.
Develop, implement and assess special programs for scholarship recipients focused on academic support, professional development, and community building.
Assist with the supervision of the EIEP Office.
Develop marketing materials and social media content that support the implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Support the hiring and training process of undergraduate and graduate student workers.
Support ongoing and new DEI programs for students.
Collaborate with UIC Cultural Centers and Support Units.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's degree.
Demonstrated experience with recruiting and retention initiatives in an institution of higher learning.
