Responsibilities:
Become familiar with Firm's procedures, forms, and software
Prepare workpapers following the Firm's quality and control policies and procedures
Execute Accounting Services assignments in payroll tax returns, sales tax returns, and basic corporate partnership and individual tax returns.
Perform basic bookkeeping and accounting services
Put forth a diligent effort to pass CPA Exam and advance both accounting and tax technical knowledge
Keep current on tax and accounting pronouncements
Act as a representative of Marcum
Aid in identifying and recruiting candidates to our Firm

Qualifications:
BA/BS/MS in Accounting
Eligible to sit for the CPA Exam
1-3 years of related experience
Proficiency with Microsoft products, specifically excel.
Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism
Demonstrated ability to generate a quality work product in a timely manner with strong attention to detail.
Strong technological skills with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new or different technology
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, time management and organizational skills
