About the role

Responsible for printing, preparing and mailing outbound mail from various departments. Coordinates with personnel from other departments to resolve issues that may be found within outbound mail. Assists in opening, sorting, scanning and processing inbound mail. Periodically reviews procedures to identify any possible procedural enhancements.

What you"ll do

  • Receives incoming mail; sorts, opens and distributes mail on a timely basis.
  • Prepares outgoing mail throughout the day, adhering to security procedures to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Exhibit a high level of attention to detail in reviewing outgoing mail and processing inbound mail.
  • Performs imaging administrative functions, ensuring documents are properly associated with the appropriate case files.
  • Work autonomously to ensure timely completion of all functions, including inbound mail, outbound mail, and other essential duties.
  • Pivot to other functions based on work volume and departmental needs to ensure adequate coverage of all functions.
  • Uses scale and postage meter to weigh, affix postage and prepare mail for pick up.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of claimant information, procedural manual, and other confidential company information.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in person, full time.
  • Prefer previous general office experience, or appropriate Allsup experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and multi-tasking environment.
  • Ability to input accurate data into our various computer systems.
  • Excellent grammar, spelling, oral and written professional communication skills.
  • Must possess problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and screens simultaneously.
  • Must display a high level of initiative and drive to succeed.
