Job Description
Specify all electrical parts and materials needed for assigned electrical and instrumentation installations.
2. Compile electrical/control instrumentation schematics and control cabinet drawings and instruction manuals for all
projects assigned.
3. Evaluate and recommend selection of pneumatic and electrical/electronic components to provide a high degree of
reliability at reasonable costs.
4. Involvement in new equipment installations and modifications.
5. Write work orders as needed.
6. Work with Engineering in development of pneumatic and electrical control and instrumentation designs.
7. Maintain "as built" electrical and pneumatic/instrumentation schematics and works with the Project Engineering
Draftsmen to ensure that drawing files are kept up to date.
8. Maintains up to date library of all PLCs, scales, chart records, and PID loop control programs (both hard copy and
disk), calibration specification and set procedures.
9. Recommends, in conjunction with the electrical supervisor and electrical engineers, spare parts for all new installations.
10. Maintain and repair all electrical/electronic and pneumatic instrumentation equipment.
11. Continue the duties presently performed as an electrician as assigned by the supervisor.
12. Know, understand, and comply with Kraft Food's Environmental Policy.
13. Reduce Kraft's Environmental footprint.
