Military Commercial Derivative Aircraft Expert
The Opportunity:

As a defense mission expert, you will bring you acquisition, logistics, aircraft maintenance, and JCIDS experience to work alongside thought leaders in Senior Leader Communications Systems, aerospace engineering, consulting, and project analytics as a command liaison. You will use your logistics and maintenance experience to make recommendations for aircraft modification and maintenance schedules to optimize fleet availability.
Work with us as a subject matter expert for aircraft. You'll help define and develop command requirements into historical and traceable documents that are critical to AF, DoD, and congressional leaders for program approval and funding.Participate in integrated test teams, test planning conferences, TIPTs and Working Groups. You'll advise on the development of requirements for training, technical publications, aircraft maintenance and sustainment, supply support, facilities, and equipment. You'll review and assess budget program inputs, contract specifications, and system designs meet required capabilities and warfighter needs as identified in the applicable JCIDS documents. You'll advise clients on FAA certification as it applies to military commercial derivative aircraft. You'll support daily internal command taskings and external command taskings, and facilitate internal and external information and direction with all stakeholders.

You Have:
Experience with aircraft maintenance, logistics planning, sustainment, and requirements generation
Experience with military commercial derivative aircraft
Knowledge of Air Force technical publication development, FAA and Military certification procedures, life cycle logistics support, JCIDS, training, and supply management
Ability to work independently and within collaborative teams
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with maintaining, scheduling, and managing aircraft
Experience with logistics acquisition management and weapon system management
Knowledge of FAA technical publications, and validation and verification procedures
Knowledge of the PPBE process
Knowledge of aircraft supply support, facilities, and equipment
Ability to prepare and maintain requirements documentation to capture and correlate information among related requirements documents in support of JCIDS requirements and procedures
Ability to critically analyze extensive data sets and make recommendations to various studies and analyses
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Possession of excellent problem solving skills
Possession of excellent analytical skills
Clearance:
