Job Summary:
As a Business Intelligence Analyst in the Global Marketing & Brand organization, you will have responsibility to deliver compelling insights derived from marketing data to support the success of Caterpillar’s Construction Industries organization.
What You Will Do:
+ Gathering and documenting user/client requirements, supports the development and testing of new products or services, collects feedback from clients, and recommends improvements.
+ Collecting required business data through various data sources.
+ Utilizing designated data analysis software (both internal and external) to analyze business data.
+ Visualizing data and writing analysis reports to assist decision making at the senior level
+ Communicating with customers, stakeholders and users to elicit and gather client requirements.
+ Making oral presentations and writing reports needed for own work

+ Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
+ Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
+ Business Data Analysis: Knowledge of business data analysis; ability to collect, identify, analyze and interpret business data using various kinds of techniques to meet business needs and requirements.
+ Business Assessment: Knowledge of the activities, tasks, practices and deliverables for assessing and documenting business opportunities; ability to assess the benefits, risks, and success factors of potential applications.
+ Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.
Consideration For Top Candidates:
+ Search Engine Optimization (SEO) experience.
+ Salesforce Marketing Cloud / Intelligence Reports
+ Experience pulling data from Snowflake
+ Familiarity with media platform reporting tools such as Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, Sprout Social
+ Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform Products (Big Query)
