Plasma Source is seeking a Sr Clinical Registered Nurse dedicated to making a positive difference. Your impact as a Sr Clinical Registered Nurse is vital. This role will ensure eligibility of donors prior to specialty blood collection, perform specialty blood collections and serve as a Technical Consultant for testing equipment as needed.

Schedule Rotates:

  • Tuesday & Thursday 9:00 AM -5:30 PM; Wed & Friday 7:00 AM -330 PM Saturday 6:00 AM-2:00 PM
  • Tuesday & Thursday 9:30 AM -6:00 PM; Wed & Friday 7:30 AM-4:00 PM; Saturday 6:30 AM-2:30 PM
  • Tuesday & Thursday11:00 AM-7:00 PM; Wed & Friday 9:00 AM -530 PM; Saturday 830 AM-4:00 PM

As a Registered Nurse, you'll get to:

  • Conduct physical examinations on donors and determine eligibility for plasma donation.
  • Educate donors on lab results, eligibility and donor opportunities.
  • Conduct collection of various clinical apheresis procedures.
  • Lead the clinical side of our in-center team both with education and strong interpersonal skills.



Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in chemical, physical or medical technology; Bachelors of Science; OR Bachelors in Nursing from an accredited institution required.
  • RN license in state of practice required.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • 2 years in a clinical OR hospital setting required.
  • 2 years of laboratory training OR experience OR both in non-waived testing required.
  • Demonstrated competency with apheresis collections required.
  • Will be working on the floor with donors-physical exam, medical questionnaire, collection of plasma.
  • Qualified to approve yearly competencies for clinical refractometer.
