Job Description
Adecco is currently hiring 2nd and 3rd shift Maintenance Technicians for a client located in Machesney Park, IL. Pay is based on experience from $20-28/hr. This person will be responsible for repairing, trouble shooting and problem solving on the production floor.
Qualifications Include:
· Tests and repairs malfunctioning production equipment/machinery and notifies appropriate personnel
· Competent in the use of Electrical Test equipment (Multi-meter, Amp Meter, and other similar equipment) to successfully troubleshoot and repair equipment.
· Installs equipment, machines, or programs to meet specifications
· Performs routine maintenance on equipment and determine what maintenance is needed
· Aligns machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, and micrometers
· Assembles and installs equipment using hand and power tools
· Uses welding skills/equipment (TIG, Stick, Torch) to fabricate and repair chutes, conveyors, hoppers, etc.
· Contains thorough knowledge of milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, brake press, drill press, and general machine shop equipment to modify dies, reels, and metal parts.
· Repairs machinery utilizing your skills in combination with tools required to complete task.
· Maintains current knowledge and actively addresses safety and environmental issues.
· Performs other duties as assigned (may include but not limited to janitorial, plumbing, pipefitting, painting, security, carpentry)
Qualifications Include:
+ HSD/GED is required
+ Forklift truck experience is required
+ 3-5+ years of maintenance experience
+ Lift up to 50lbs
