Job Description
This facility has about 25 full-time employees and in a non-union environment. Very heavy industrial environment with large manual lathes, grinders, and polishers. This facility only refurbishes and chrome plates crankshafts.
4 month contract to hire guarenteed!

Description:
+ Utilize a manual grinder to grind crankshaft
+ Work with hand tools to manually adjust lathe
+ Perform precise measurements with mics and cals
+ Manipulate up to 70 lbs (with overhead crane)
+ Identify and make required adjustments with correct abrasive material
Monday-Friday (6:30pm-3pm)
Can work up to two Saturdays/month
$18 – 21 to start
We provide crankshaft hard chrome plating and reconditioning services primarily supporting the North American Locomotive aftermarket. The extensive repair equipment includes chrome plating tanks, crankshaft grinders, crankshaft balancer and sub arc welder among other key equipment to support crankshaft reconditioning.
