Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Rework Technician to join our team at a plant in Ridgeville, South Carolina. The Rework Technician will be responsible for identifying and correcting quality issues in vehicles that have been flagged for rework. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect vehicles identified for rework to determine the nature and extent of the quality issue.
- Diagnose the root cause of the quality issue and develop a plan to correct it.
- Perform rework activities, which may include repairing, replacing, or adjusting components to meet quality standards.
- Document all rework activities and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and address systemic quality issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in automotive manufacturing or a related field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
