Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Floor Tech to join our team and contribute to the overall cleanliness and appearance of our facility.
Responsibilities:
+ Perform floor maintenance tasks, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing.
+ Follow established cleaning procedures and schedules to maintain the cleanliness of various floor surfaces.
+ Inspect and identify maintenance needs, reporting any issues to the Facilities Manager.
+ Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
+ Assist with moving furniture and other items as needed during floor care activities.
+ Adhere to safety protocols and ensure the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
+ Collaborate with other facilities team members to maintain a clean and organized environment.
Qualifications:
+ Proven experience as a Floor Tech or in a similar role.
+ Knowledge of various floor types and appropriate cleaning methods.
+ Ability to operate floor care equipment, including buffers and waxing machines.
+ Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
+ Strong communication and teamwork skills.
+ Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy equipment and furniture.
+ Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures related to floor care.
