Title: SharePoint Online Developer (1 Opening) Location: Springfield, IL (Hybrid) Duration: 12 Months Description:
We seek a skilled and experienced SharePoint Online Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience with SharePoint, along with experience migrating from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint Online, and expertise in various related technologies, third-party plugins, workflows, and tools. The candidate should demonstrate a strong understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, administration, development, and customization, including web parts, workflows, and third-party plugins.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain SharePoint Online solutions to meet business requirements.
- Design and implement workflows and forms using SharePoint Designer and PowerApps.
- Create and manage external and internal content types, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
- Utilize SharePoint Online search capabilities to optimize content discovery and user experience.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance and support.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and training materials.
- Perform SharePoint Online administration tasks, including user management, permissions, and site configuration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint Online solutions, workflows, and integrations.
- Stay updated on the latest SharePoint Online features, best practices, and industry trends.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership and guidance when needed.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Five to Seven years of SharePoint Developer experience with at least three years of experience with SharePoint Online development and customization.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture, administration, and development best practices.
- Proficiency in SharePoint Designer, PowerApps, and Microsoft Power Automate (formerly Flow).
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CAML.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Microsoft certifications in SharePoint or related technologies (optional but preferred).
- Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development (preferred).
