BDO USA, P.C. (FKA BDO USA, LLP) seeks Experienced Audit Senior Associate in Chicago, IL.
Job Duties: Responsible for coordinating day-to-day “in-charge” duties of planning, fieldwork and accounting “wrap-up” to include preparation of financial statements with disclosures. Oversee and review the drafting of complex audit work plans for clients. Appropriately document, validate, test and assess various audit plans and budgets. Identify complex accounting issues and provides solutions to management. Advise clients on various economic and legal risks in their given industry, applying GAAP and GAAS, drafting potentially complex financial statements and disclosures. Identify and research new trends and tools. Supervise Associates and Senior Associates. Travel to various unanticipated client sites and BDO office locations nationally. Telecommuting permitted 100% of time.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or the foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as an Audit Associate or related.
Must have experience in each of the following skills: Public accounting; Performing audits of public and/or private companies; GAAP; GAAS; Microsoft Office products, including Windows,
Word and Excel; and Using various assurance applications and research tools.
