Responsible for providing leverage to the National Engineering Manager by effectively supporting the management of maintenance and capital improvement projects across all fulfillment centers. Responsible for driving results by establishing and holding accountability to high quality expectations for the overall care, sustainability, and safe work conditions of the fulfillment centers to support business needs. Manage and execute facility capital improvement projects. Support the growth and development of Home Chef Maintenance and Reliability program. Communicate with plant teams on new processes and conducting trainings. Responsible for owning the regulatory compliance of each Home Chef Facility including but not limited to ammonia refrigeration, water discharge, contractor safety, and chemical disposal. Drive site projects to close gaps identified through the PSM audit process in addition to other regulatory requirements. Serve as Subject matter expert in ammonia refrigeration and PSM compliance. Lead the required PSM/ CalARP compliance audits and PHA revalidations. Own the recommendations from site audits and create a project plan with required action owners to close any gaps. Conduct internal audits on refrigeration contractors to ensure they are following company policies, completing required PMs on time, and documenting corrective work. Review site SOPs annually to ensure they are accurate and up to date. Ensure all Home Chef employees are trained annually on the evacuation procedures and the risk of ammonia refrigeration. Ensure all Home Chef facilities are PSM or CalARP audit ready at all times. Maintain accurate record of investigation reports and ensures corrective actions are tracked and completed in a timely manner. Own the Home Chef contractor safety program. Maintain the Home Chef approved contractor list. Partner with the Maintenance team at each site to bring in new approved contractors. Own the contractor required documentation and shares the information with the legal, safety, and accounting teams. Partner with maintenance teams to ensure permitted work is documented and reviewed properly. Drive facility projects to adhere to new state, federal, and international laws and regulations. Lead facility projects to comply with new or changing regulatory requirements. Partner with different teams such as maintenance, sanitation, and safety to ensure training takes place on any new requirements. Be the primary point of contact for local regulatory authorities. Conduct the coordination of chemical or hazardous waste disposal from each site. Own the DeKalb County Watershed monthly discharge report submittals and ensures the Lithonia site. Maintain compliance with the permit requirements. Partner with the Safety team on required facility training. Partner with the National Safety Manager on annual required training for process safety. Maintain the Emergency Action Plan for each site and conducts training for all site leaders on their required responsibilities. Ensure the safety team executes on annual evacuation and ammonia awareness training for the sites. 100% Telecommuting. Up to 50% nationwide travel.
