Job Description
Software Engineer (Adyen N.V.; Chicago, IL): Design, implement, test, and monitor new functionalities to the platform. Utilize Java as the main programming language during day-to-day coding. Assist with the frontend using JavaScript when necessary. Support high volume processing using proprietary frameworks built (i.e. queuing) and develop new functionality based on these frameworks and extending the frameworks as needed. Identify and improve parts of the platform to make it more robust and scalable. Utilize company’s processing application to allow processing payments from merchants. Communicate with merchants/stakeholders to gather requirements for new features. Work cross functionally with account managers, implementation managers, and merchants to develop and formalize requirements for changes that directly benefit merchants as they utilize company’s platforms.
Salary: $150,000 to $160,000 per year
