Duties and Responsibilities 
 Classroom Technology Support (CTS) is responsible for supporting classroom and learning spaces across Loyola's campuses including usage questions and physical device troubleshooting. The current work modality within Information Technology Services is a hybrid work environment with on-campus and remote components. The remote component is defined by the manager and as appropriate for the position.

Primary responsibilities include the following:


Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and basic repairs of classrooms, learning spaces, and large venue areas
Monitors and supports the operation of video and audio conferencing systems.
Recommends replacement and upgrades to equipment and software as necessary.
Investigate equipment and work with vendors to develop technology recommendations and specifications for the University.
Monitors and tracks classroom technology assets.
Provides classroom technology training to technicians, student employees, and other University departments responsible for academic technology.
Provides technical support for digital signage server, clients, and displays.
Responds to users' anxiety with calmness, sensitivity and respect, remaining focused on resolving user needs.
Serves as a resource and consultant to the University community regarding classroom technology information as it relates to an academic setting.
In collaboration with the Classroom Technology Manager, writes documentation for technology that is used in the classrooms, learning spaces, and large venue areas.
Provide support on other technology needs for the Loyola community as needed.
Conduct all interactions with colleagues, end-users, and vendors courteously and respectfully.
Flexible schedule required for evening and weekend support as needed.
Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience 
 Bachelor's degree in business, digital media, computer science or related field and at least two years of directly relevant experience.

* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
* Ability to understand and apply concepts such as resource utilization, work effort, percent to complete and project health.

Reasoning Ability:
