Responsible for a variety of financial activities that help drive the company's success through strong financial analysis, delivering and presenting information, and strategic thinking with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Job functions include budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, financial models, performing research and analysis, developing and preparing financial reports, and assisting with projects and the accounting close process.  


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist with the development and ongoing management and reporting of internal cost center and departmental reporting.
Prepare annual and quarterly budgets for various departments and the company.
Manage the mortgage accounting functions as the liaison between the business unit and accounting/finance.
Develop, maintain, and analyze a detailed forecasting process updated monthly, quarterly, annually, and with a multi-year view. Forecast to include specific net interest margin and income trajectory based on various scenarios to assist CFO with analyst and investor communication and overall profitability management.
Implement and manage profitability reporting for the Company's Retail and Commercial business lines.
Assist the asset and liability management efforts for reporting and predictability of the balance sheet and margin changes and regulatory reporting requirements.
Analyze monthly and quarter financial results for reporting, trending analysis, and assistance in management decision making.
Oversee the capital planning and capital stress testing for the Company incorporating stress testing scenarios from the credit department and liquidity modeling.
Lead the accounting and finance preparation and implementation of requirements tied to crossing the $10 billion asset threshold, including the additional regulatory and reporting needs.
Assist with various ad hoc projects, reporting requirements, SEC external reporting tables, call report, and other regulatory reporting as well as certain modeling related to mergers and acquisitions. 
Serves on Company committees as assigned including the Asset-Liability Committee and provide any analysis and reports for meetings as requested.
Completes required training associated with job functions.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree with major in accounting or finance, and
Minimum of 5 years' experience in an accounting/financial reporting role.

Skills:
Ability to drive success through by taking initiative in learning, developing and implementing processes and procedures across multiple functional areas.
High level of interpersonal skills so as to effectively communicate complex issues with colleagues, management and external constituents.
Good analytical skills in order to analyze financial and procedural data.
Adequate knowledge of both internal policies and procedures and the respective state and federal laws and regulations governing accounting functions to ensure performance of job duties within the proper control environment.
