Target hiring range for this position will be between $49,850-$51,000 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Job Summary:
The Volleyball Video and Analytics Coordinator position is committed to the high performance and success of the Northwestern Women’s Volleyball program. This position directs both the technical and technological aspects of the Women’s Volleyball program, while providing operational support to the program as needed.
*Willingness and ability to work a non-traditional schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as required. *
Specific Responsibilities:
- Utilizing the software provided by the volleyball program in order to translate the objective and subjective physical aspects of performance into data pertinent to the comparative and analytical aspects of the sport of volleyball
- categorizing and configuring accumulated material in ways that are meaningful and relevant to improved performance for the student-athletes and to heightened strategic thinking for the coaching staff
- working closely with the coaching staff to analyze and provide accurate and beneficial scouting footage of opponents.
- potentially training other individuals within the realm of these job responsibilities
- serving as a primary contact for the program with outside partners in the areas of statistical and creative software/programming
- directing all practice and match video operations for the program, including but not limited to video recording, video scheduling, coding, as well as monitoring and arranging for video exchange
- developing an understanding of the video networking systems within Northwestern facilities for the purpose of contributing relevant information and feedback for internal and extern
