Responsibilities

Provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision of a physician.

+ Obtain patient history and performs assessment.

+ Order, perform and interpret diagnostic procedures.

+ Provide and document direct treatment and management of health conditions.

+ Provide counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.

+ Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

+ Certified Physician Assistant credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation preferred. Physician Assistant (PA) License, required and tracked by the local credentialing office

Education:

+ Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master’s degree preferred.

Work Experience:

+ 1 year of experience preferred.
