Description:

The Program Coordinator (Technology-Based Simulation) position entails a multifaceted role with key responsibilities including training and performance assessment of Simulation Operations Specialists and Instructors. Additionally, the role encompasses comprehensive project management duties for simulation programs which involve the development, coordination, and implementation phases. The role also requires the maintenance of high-fidelity mannequins and task trainers to ensure the smooth operation and educational efficacy of the simulation programs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Program Coordinator (TBS) will manage, conduct implementation, and supervise simulation projects. In addition, the Program Coordinator (TBS) will assess projects for effectiveness; provide guidance and suggestions; also, debriefing staff/students and faculty.
Program Coordinator (TBS) is responsible for preparing and maintaining high-fidelity mannequins and the task trainers.
Recruit, select, and train skills instructors to portray clinical findings, to demonstrate, teach, and assess select clinical procedures. Observe, evaluate, and review instructors' performance. Provide guidance and training as needed.
Work with client programs by preparing, programming, and deploying technology-based simulation encounters.
Develop and maintain project proposals and invoices.
Oversee the day-to-day operational tasks by reviewing assignments to ensure the needs are being met. This also includes hiring, ongoing departmental training/development of staff to ensure all staff are following standardize required guidelines.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's degree.
A total of three (3) years (36 months) of Simulation Operations Specialist (SimOps) experience and/or other simulation experience.  Preferred Qualifications:
Current CHSOS Certification preferred.
