The Rock River Valley Blood Center is currently hiring Donor Service Representatives at our Perryville location. Donor Service Representatives support the center's mission to provide safe, high-value blood products and services to people in need. They do this by calling donors to confirm and schedule blood collection appointments. They also register donors; confirming donor identity and accurately recording donor information on paper forms as well as in our electronic records. They answer calls and provide excellent customer service to the public as well as to other blood center employees.

To succeed in this position you need to have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable making phone calls. You need to have strong verbal and written communication skills, be detail oriented and be able to accurately enter data in to our systems. You need to have good time management skills and be able to work independently. We require a high school diploma or a GED. Clerical/administrative, customer service and outbound calling experience is highly preferred.
