Job Description
Manage the entire lifecycle of an IT infrastructure Configuration Management and Automation project. Manage stakeholders concerned with the project and coordinate day-to-day tasks forsuccessful and timely completion of the project. Plan business strategy and manage projects by aligning business goals with technology solutions to drive business benefits, competitive advantage, and bottom-line gains. Work with project sponsors and product owners to provide progress reports to leadership. Discuss and develop software solutions with Solution Architects and project sponsors. Identify vulnerabilities within the environment and assist with code development with Software Engineers and deploy the code. Practice SCRUM methodology to run projects and features within the organization. Facilitate changes to HIERA files and associated configurations to ensure compliance across the server environment forthe organization. Create different FACT reports to identify the differential between the master and agent and remediate the same by scripting the solution to fix it. Perform upgrades for thelatest versions of the configuration management tools like Puppet and Ansible. Responsible for Certificate renewals and revocations for different application servers within the organization.Participate in internal audits to ensure compliant practices for different features within the organization. Work with Change Advisory Board (CAB) to approve complex changes; resolve theconflicts and mitigate the calculated risks.
