Job Description
Job Duties: Manage Test Leads in the development of detailed, complex plans to conduct software tests to confirm functionality and adherence to business requirements, functional specification documents, and design documents. Oversee and perform lead role in design and creation of software tests and cases to address areas database impact and software scenarios using unit testing, integration testing, system testing, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, and/or user acceptance testing. Oversee product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems. Perform lead role in defining of pass /fail criteria for test cases. Lead prioritization and isolation of pre- and postimplementation issues for resolution. Supervise the creation of metrics and test results for all testing conducted. Perform lead role in creation or maintenance of databases of known test defects. Requirements: Master's or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), IT, Management Info. System, or related and 1 year of experience in the job offered or as a/an software designer, developer, analyst, tester, or related. In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor's or equivalent in the above-stated fields plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the above-stated occupations. Position is based out of 55 W. Monroe Street, Suite 1200, Chicago, IL 60603, and may require relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
