Job Description
Job Duties: Oversee the communication with staff or clients to understand specific system requirements. Lead Computer Systems Engineers/Architects in the analysis of requirements and development of design concepts or changes. Perform lead role in documentation of design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information. Oversee the verification of stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of system architecture. Oversee coordination with engineers or software developers in selection of appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components. Supervise technical guidance or support provided by the team for the development or troubleshooting of systems. Oversee the identification of system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs. Perform lead role in providing guidelines for implementing secure systems to customers or installation teams. Monitor system operation to detect potential problems. Requirements: Master's or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), IT, Management Information Systems, or related and 1 year of experience in the job offered or as a/an software designer, developer, analyst, tester, or related. In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor's or equivalent in the above-stated fields plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the above-stated occupations. Position is based out of 55 W. Monroe St., Ste 1200 Chicago IL 60603, and may require relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
