What you will be doing

Cencora is a results-driven organization that emphasizes having a customer focus for key decisions. The Strategic Content Manager will have the responsibility of supporting customer-specific insights in Cencora's sales opportunities and internal business cases. The manager will accomplish this by conveying organizational knowledge of Cencora strategies through opportunity analysis and strategic communications describing the recommended solutions and capabilities based on the target account/audience. This role helps support incorporating strategic and tactical recommendations into concise content so that internal leaders and/or potential buyers can make better informed business decisions in areas spanning Cencora's commercial segments. This position will work cross functionally to facilitate and encourage alignment and a shared vision of a proposed solution or business case.

Document key strategic opportunities that will have performance improvements, operational efficiency gains, and profitability for Cencora and our customers through cross-segment approaches and solutions.
Working in partnership with sales, strategy, and finance leaders, to convey appropriate recommendations and persuasive content in presentations, business cases and proposals required in the sales cycle or as due diligence to inform Cencora leadership decisions.
Monitor market research and trends, internal strategic priorities, sales pipelines, and solution portfolios to ensure alignment, integrity and quality of proposals, presentations, and business cases.
Participate in cross-segment processes for business analysis and content development that are established to derive value for the organization and our customers and drive growth.
Work with business stakeholders to incorporate solution or business case modifications and facilitate cross-segment implementation of these changes.
Perform ad hoc analysis based on customer requests in the sales cycle and other business needs.
Work independently with a wide range of internal departments and stakeholders to ensure business expectations are met.
Assists Cencora's leadership team with special projects as needed.

What your background should look like

The ideal candidate will posses excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally in order to make ongoing improvements to the operation. This role requires the ability to collaborate with diverse groups spanning multiple functions and facilitate meetings while ensuring deliverables are documented and followed through to closure. Analysis capability with the ability to recognize and convey commonalities, trends, and feedback into business insights. Must have experience leading and managing complex projects with successful results and on-time delivery; must be customer service oriented.
Needs to demonstrate critical thinking and aptitude for synthesizing broad and complex sets of information into actionable recommendations that are positioned from a customer-centric perspective.
A bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business or related field.
Proven experience supporting complex projects and collaborating with SMEs across varying functional areas and management levels.
3 + of experience leveraging excellent verbal and written communication skills in consultative capacity is required.
Experience involving business development or sales cycle-related work involving account-specific analysis is preferred.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, collaboration software) and superior PowerPoint skills required.
Experience working in the healthcare industry is preferred.
