Job Description
A manufacturing company in Glendale Heights is seeking a Sr. Accountant. This individual will partner closely with upper management and ownership and will lead the accounting/finance processes of the organization.
Description:
The Sr. Accountant will handle day to day accounting tasks as well as be a key point of contact for our external auditors and banks.
Responsibilities:
+ Prepare and post journal entries
+ General accounting tasks
+ Assist with budget preparation
+ Provide month end closing financial statements
+ Responsible for general ledger reconciliation
+ Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes
+ Collaborate and communicate with external auditors
+ Handle majority of month end closing task
+ Handle bank transactions
Qualifications:
+ Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field
+ 5+ years of accounting experience, manufacturing industry experience is preferred
+ Sole ownership of all financials inclusive of (AR/AP/Payroll/General Accounting Duties)
