Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Develops procedures, and protocols for testing electronic devices during NPD design phase.
+ Creates comprehensive test plans linked back to project requirements.
+ Performs thermal data collection and analysis to support continuous improvement and NPD
+ Designs, procures and fabricates electromechanical automated test fixtures to support continuous improvement and new product development.
+ Execute Environmental stress testing such as temperature, humidity, vibration, EMC
+ Conducts validation and verification testing of electronics and software.
+ Ability to perform Component level debug of electronic devices, SMT soldering rework, and programming of internal PCBs as required.
+ Support agency pre-compliance testing as required (CE,UL,CSA)
+ Effectively communicate with Engineering Staff on unit performance and functionality issues.
+ Handle equipment logistics for all outsourced lab testing.
+ Review internal/external lab results with business unit engineering management.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work area and equipment; follow all 5S and safety guidelines.
+ Responsible for calibration service setup, scheduling, and quality records of all calibrated instruments.
