Responsibilities
This is a 6 month project with part time hours. 4 hours daily (those hours can vary between 8am to 5pm)
+ Serve as a lead for the quality function and sustain the quality philosophy and lean culture for the site.
+ Floor presence to review quality issues on the floor and work with manufacturing on quality at the source projects.
+ Administers the effective documentation and implementation of the quality management system to assure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements and the standards set by corporate/division policies.
+ Act as a liaison with leadership for production, quality and NPD to ensure that individuals performing functions affecting quality are demonstrating the appropriate skills and performance results.
+ Maintains a corrective action system to analyze and correct nonconforming conditions and complaints.
+ Executes the performance measurements necessary to effectively evaluate organizational performance and trends in product quality, services, customer satisfaction and the cost of poor quality.
+ Assists Quality leadership on the development and implementation of a supplier management strategy.
+ Collaborates with Engineering on new product development and design review for quality/reliability issues
