Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY: The Program Specialist provides direct patient care under the Director of PHP/IOP Services. Primary responsibilities include ensuring the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, facilitation of group meetings, coordination of patient transportation, assistance with dischar ge planning, and department recruitment. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Experience: One year behavioral health experience with pediatric/adolescent population. Licensure/Certification: None required Knowledge: Prefer knowledge of individual and group management skills, therapeutic relationships and processes, age specific growth and development, limit setting and crisis and behavior management.
