Robert Half is seeking an accounting candidate with dynamic communication skills, a positive attitude, and a professional demeanor for a role in the Plastics Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate for this position would possess a strong set of social skills and could easily collaborate with others. This position will be located in the Rolling Meadows, Illinois area and will be a short-term contract / temporary opportunity. Someone with AP/AR experience and some HR would be ideal.
Responsibilities
- Produce financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
- Review payments received and record deposits
- Supervise bookkeeping policies and procedures, along with developing a framework to track financial transactions with an established chart of accounts
- Balance accounts by reconciling entries
- Preside over and review general ledger
- Sustain collections of historical records by organizing documents
- Be responsible for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Requirements – Earlier experience working with various types of accounting software desired- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
- Full charge bookkeeping experience desired
- Experience with Human Resources (HR) Administration
- Accounts Payable (AP) experience
- High-Volume Invoicing experience
- Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)
- 2+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper
