Position Description:
- Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team that produces manufactured products, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements – Ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work, verifying lines are running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts – Drive to exceed personal, team, Company goals by holding self & team to high performance standards through servant leadership – Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams

- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations – Two-way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members, leaders, business partners and customers – Highly committed to continuous improvement, while applying innovative solutions with a customer first mindset – Create a culture of safety and apply and implement workplace policies – Administer the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) consistently and effectively – Values different opinions & is open to ideas & perspectives from others
Experience Required:
- 1+ years of supervisory and / or manufacturing experience – Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook – Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends
Experience Preferred:
- Safety and quality experience – Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified – Knowledge of constraint management principles – Prior experience managing a unionized workforce
