Job Description
Engineering Change Analysts with Rivian Automotive, LLC in Normal, IL. Coordinate and manage engineering changes for products and their components. Finalize breakpoints. Follow up new parts until first receipt. Coordinate the disposal or return of replaced parts. Coordinate change control with Trade Compliance relative to FTZ operations including disposition of foreign parts. Generate all parts lists for special build, pilots, and 1st run options. Develop plant breakpoint using the following criteria: Supplier input, Plant reference, Engineering direction, Marketing request, Production order management input. Receive production alteration authorization from Engineering, check to make sure it has proper signatures before
implementing. Make disposition of obsolete material. Interact with the Engineering Change Systems Committee
to communicate ECS effective date changes and release new ECS reports. Support the production organization.
RQMTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field and 2 years of experience in any occupation involving industrial engineering. Experience must include: SAP; PLM systems and their interface with MRP; Supply Chain Management and Inventory Control; Product Data Management software for managing and visualizing engineering drawings and related design data.
