Job Summary:
The Director of Operations serves on the senior lead team to define the vision, strategy, and operating principles of the C4C to meet the school's objectives, enable efficient operations and comply with University and Federal policies and procedures.The Director continually refines and evolves the C4C service model as multiple McC Centers with different structures and administrative needs become customers.The C4C staff also provide administrative support for McC Global Initiatives.The position reports to the Associate Dean and supervises C4C staff.

Specific Responsibilities:
McC Center for Center leadership and operational excellence (210%)
*Contributes to C4C vision, strategy and business model
*Defines policy and procedure, ensures compliance with NU and Federal policy, deploys best practices, oversees center annual reviews
*Operationalizes objectives; ensures financial, manpower staff and space resources are obtained and optimized; supervises, trains staff and leads performance management and career pathing
Administrative support and consummate customer service to individual centers and McC Global Initiatives (670%)
*Efficient and effective administration for each Center customer.Excels in project management so that each Center receives optimal support.
*Support includes: inaugural event, symposia, visitors, marketing (website, logo, lockup, letterhead), non-sponsored operating budget, purchases and financial management, events, collaboration with home department for post award management, facilitation with other McC/NU schools and centers.
*Collaborates with director(s) to help facilitate strategies/opportunities.
Communication, collaboration and outreach (10%)
*Establishes productive working relationships with resources and subject matter experts across McC and NU including McC Marketing, department staff, OR, INVO, etc. and with external colleagues related to center(s) discipline.
*Prepares presentations for the C4C as well as individual centers as appropriate
Outcomes and Observations (10%)
*Monitors and measures C4C and individual center and McC Global milestones and achievements
*Prepares reports and analyses for the McC senior lead team to inform strategic planning and optimize the business model.
Miscellaneous
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
*Bachelor degree or combination of similar education and experience
*5+ years administrative/project management experience including financial, marketing and events, customer service including at least 3 years management experience/leadership role.
Target hiring range for this position will be between $76,196 - $107,151 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
