Job Description
Our client, a leader in their manufacturing industry, is looking to add multiple machinists to their operations. They have openings on 1st and 3rd shift with the operation of running multiple machines. We are looking for individuals who have experience operating CNC Grinding machines. These positions are long term/permanent job openings due to increases in business.
Description:
Set-up and operate grinding, and/or gear shaping and hobbing machines
Maintain clean and organized departments
Analyze/interpret travelers and blueprints
Line up tooling for machine production (leads kit with required tooling)
Complete all paperwork to specifications
Set-up vari-rolls for inspection
Analyze prints and requirements to determine speeds and feeds
Fill out first article sheets
Know machines’ capabilities and limitations
Make size changes accordingly
When able, run multiple machines
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Abide by company handbook regulations
Set-up DIATEST for initial internal and helix gears
Experience Level:
Intermediate Level
