Job Description

THE POSITION

Industrial Engineering Manager

Overall Management and Responsibility for the Industrial Engineering Department.

1. Coordinate benchmarking and continuous improvement activities

2. Design, implement and maintain machine and plant capacity calculations.

3. Responsible for: plant layout, CUD calendar, working calandar, work standardization & time studies, material flow improvements, variable headcount management, efficiency increase, reduction of losses and variable costs, idea management, & project lead and project management.

4. Train management potentials and specific IE knowledge in plant IE departments and initiate IE personnel development activities in agreement with management.

5. Supervise preparation of manning tables, utilization of time study/methods program.

6. Implement and direct the management of both formal and informal cost reduction programs in the plant.

7. Create annual personnel budget for variable employees.

8. Support the design of human oriented work systems by analyzing and improving human-machine interaction considering social, economical and ecological aspects.

9. Responsible for CBS in the plant

10. Responsible for Manufacturing Suite in the plant

11. Design, implement and maintain processes (e.g. RICP, PIP)

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree

- 10+ years of relevant professional experience

- 18 months experience of leading people (including matrix/indirect reporting) or project leader experience

- Experience in international / matrix organizations

- Internal qualified candidates will meet internal guidelines for this executive level role

Preferred Qualifications

Masters degree
